Catawba Care Coalition (CCC) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization
located in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Our Mission
To promote optimal health for York, Chester and Lancaster
County residents by providing medical care and support services
for people living with HIV/AIDS and by educating the community
to prevent the spread of HIV.
We serve clients in one convenient location with:

» Case Management and Support Services
» Prevention Services
Quick Facts about Catawba Care Coalition...
In 2007, we served 391 clients from York, Chester and Lancaster Counties.
Of those served:
- » 44 (11%) were new to CCC
- » 362 (93%) received on-site medical care
- » 132 (34%) are women
- » 251 (64%) are African American and 11 (3%) are Latino
- » 262 (67%) live at or below the Federal poverty line
- » 143 (37%) have no payer source for their medical care
Through Prevention Services, we also:
- » Administered 410 oral HIV tests
- » Conducted group-level HIV education for 26 African American women
through the SISTA Project
- » Conducted secondary prevention interventions on an individual-level
with 30 CCC clients
- » Provided HIV education to an additional 362 individuals through
community outreach
- » The clinic also administered 12 blood-draw HIV tests
